See downtown superstars, underground darlings, electronic wizards, art rockers, jazz luminaries, and metalheads match up with Bobby Previte on drums and electronic drums in the shadow of the Wall Street stock exchange.

BOBBY PREVITE [drums + electronic drums] and ELLIOTT SHARP [guitar]

ELLIOTT SHARP is a multi-instrumentalist/composer/performer who has personified the experimental music scene in New York City for over thirty years. He has released over 65 recordings spanning the musical spectrum from blues, jazz, and orchestral music to noise, no wave, rock, and techno. Sharp describes himself as a lifelong “science geek,” having modified and created musical instruments from his teen years. His collaborators have included Zeena Parkins, Eric Mingus, Vernon Reid, Bobby Previte, and David Torn. He has formed many ensembles including Terraplane and Carbon and has released records on zOaR (his own label), SST, Knitting Factory Records, and Tzadik.
