We're more than a little pleased to present the poster boy of the American underground along with his brand new band The Burglars, so called because he nicked them for this tour from his favourite Chicago bands such as Mahjongg, Laser Crystal and Detholz!.
Bobby has equally delighted and annoyed hipsters since first appearing on the Chicago music scene in the mid '90s. Blending aggressive showmanship with an omnivorous love of musical genres, from Suicide to Streisand or from The Sweet to Stravinsky, Bobby has often irritated and provoked audiences, but never bored them.
The band will be playing the entire 'Rise Up!' album (remastered and reissued by Fire records on 15 Nov) plus some exclusive new songs.

VIV ALBERTINE
The Slits guitarist and main songwriter actually gave up music for 25 years but earlier this year her Flesh EP was released through Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label.
Beautifully uncomplicated, stripped down and raw, her new material is a collision of twisted lyrics, mind-worm melodies veering from the slightly dark to extremely catchy and cute.
