King, Little Junior, Roscoe Gordon, Howling Wolf, Gatemouth Moore, Ike Turner and others. Beginning in the late 50's, Bland's career highlights include, a #1 on the R&B chart with 'Further On Up The Road,' 'I'll Take Care of You,' 'I Pity the Fool,' 'Don't Cry No More,' 'Turn On Your Love Light,' and 'That's The Way Love Is.'
