Bob Lilly was the first draft choice of the brand new Dallas Cowboys in 1961. Over his 14 years with the franchise, he was an All-Pro 7 times and played in the All-Star game 11 times. Affectionately known as "Mr. Cowboy," Lilly was the first Cowboy inducted into the Pro-Football Hall of Fame.
