Board Member Legal Issues September 22, 2010

This seminar will help you better understand the duties, liabilities, and legal protections that affect the members of the board of directors for every kind of nonprofit organization, regardless of its size or programs. In addition to covering both Missouri law and general legal principles that relate to nonprofit board membership, this class will also discuss board member protections in the form of insurance, indemnification, and statutory protection from some forms of liability.
