"Blues to the Rescue" Fundraiser for Animal Lifeline Nonprofit April 25, 2008

Pet lovers and animal advocates are invited to an evening of live music, great food and a chance to win fantastic raffle prizes on Friday, April 25th, 2008 at 7:30 PM in New Hope to benefit the nonprofit organization www.AnimalLifelineonline.org

Based in Doylestown PA, Animal Lifeline strives to serve as the ‘rescue to the rescues’ through innovative fundraising efforts, serving as an umbrella organization for under-funded animal rescue efforts. Animal Lifeline was founded in 2006 by a group of volunteers who gathered and sold unwanted household items via yard sales, eBay and Craigslist and donated the proceeds to animal rescue groups in need of food and basic supplies.

“There are so many wonderful and dedicated small animal rescue organizations working hard each day to save lives and lacking the time or means to fundraise independently,” said Animal Lifeline Founder Denise Bash. “Our mission is developing innovative concepts to support these rescues and shelters which allows them to focus on what they do best— saving animals.”

Philadelphia’s blues, soul, rock, singer-songwriter Deb Callahan will perform to entertain “Blues to the Rescue” guests, who are encouraged to put on their favorite pair of blue jeans to rock the night away.

Silent auction and raffle prizes include vacation rentals in the Outer Banks and Jersey Shore, a mountain bike, a hot tub, pet-related products and services, certificates for local restaurants and businesses, and much more.
