Blues Festival June 19, 2010

We have a fantastic line up featuring; The Big Blues Tribe, Bex Marshal Band, Rollo Marquee and the Tailshakers, Alma Latina, Tommy Allen and Johny Hewitt!

With only a month to go it’s time to get your tickets for Taurus Blues Festival 2010 at the pre-event price of £12 for adults.

We have nine hours of live music from nationally acclaimed musicians across the broad spectrum of the blues, and all in the wonderful setting of Taurus Crafts with its excellent food and drink (local - delicious and excellent value!) eight craftworkers, pottery, gift shop and warm and friendly atmosphere.
We are really excited to have The Bex Marshall Band. Bex is really causing a stir on the circuit and in the media with her killer voice, guitar playing and performance style. She has already extensively toured Australia this year and is taking time out of her busy schedule to be the big name at this year’s Taurus Blues Festival. We also have the goodtime blues orchestra The Big Blues Tribe with a five piece brass section, four great singers and a rocking rhythm section. Plus we have the excellent Rollo Markee and The Tailshakers, Alma Latina, to bring a little Latin magic, top guitarist Tommy Allen with his Chicago street blues partner Johnny Hewitt and more! We've also got a kids 'Make you own recycled musical instrument’ workshop and all the kids will then get to join one of our bands on stage.

Camping is available for the saturday night at £5 per adults (kids under 12 camp free with an adult).
