Blues and BBQ August 29, 2009

If sipping local wine, sampling hot bbq and grooving to cool blues sounds appealing then Adult Community Education has the perfect outing for you-and it's all for a good cause. On Aug. 29, from 5 to 9 p.m., ACE, in cooperation with Lake Anna Winery, will host its first annual Blues and BBQ fundraiser benefiting the Louisa County non-profit's adult literacy programs. For $30, patrons will enjoy a wine tasting, bbq meal and music by the local band bluerock. Games, door prizes and a silent auction will also be featured. Dinner reservations are required.
