A Symposium for Mothers, Daughters, and the Women in their Support System

Four unique experiences bring new meaning to traditional holiday.

Mothers, daughters, sisters and girlfriends expand their worlds by sharing traditional Sweat Lodges throughout the Valley. Economic and ethnic boundaries melt as girlfriends of all ages convene for a Festive Night Out under the stars. An All-Day Symposium treats women and girls to a World Café morning and mind-opening afternoon workshops. Finally, a Rite of Passage Ceremony connects the hearts of 200 girls from all religions and ethnicities as they step into womanhood.

Blueprint for Womanhood is the brainchild of social innovator Fatimah Halim whose diverse team of creative women is reaching out through real and virtual media to encourage valley women and girls to bookmark this one-of-a-kind series of special events.
