Red Barn Radio, in partnership with LexArts and MoonDance, announces Bluegrass at MoonDance, a Bluegrass mini-festival to be held October 8-9, and October 15-16, at MoonDance at Midnight Pass in Beaumont Centre. The festival features entertainment exclusively from Kentucky artists, which presents a unique opportunity to experience grassroots artists from the Commonwealth. The weekend of folksy music stands as LexArts’ first project as artistic manager with MoonDance Foundation. Performers for the two weekends of music, include Southern Strings, Howards Creek, Downtown County Band,
Karly Dawn and & Little Sarie, Custom Made Bluegrass, Lucy Becker Trio, Driftwood, Karly Dawn & Little Sarie Band, Kentucky Memories,
Fresh Cut Grass, The Cumberlands, The Wild Boogers and others.
The amphitheatre seats up to 1,200 people on lawn chairs or blankets that they bring. “This outdoor venue is perfect for Bluegrass music—it is relaxed and comfortable and encourages folks to come as they are to celebrate Kentucky’s musical heritage,” said Jim Clark, President and CEO of LexArts.
