'The Blue Room' is a modern adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's 'La Ronde.' David Hare, one of England's most celebrated living playwrights, has re-set these circular scenes of love and betrayal in the present day. With just two actors playing all the parts, he has created a drama that follows a chain of sexual encounters between a diverse selection of characters -- a prostitute and a cab driver, a politician and a model, an actress and an aristocrat -- and the journey that they take, individually and collectively, in their relationships of love or lust.
