Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association, Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Old Trail School are joining together to celebrate an important resident of CVNP – the Great Blue Heron. The event will highlight the important mission we have to protect and preserve CVNP while educating future generations about environmental and habitat protection.
The event will kick off with a pancake breakfast that will be served until noon. There will be various stations with stories, crafts and other activities guests can visit to learn about herons and their habitat. They can also visit the Bath Road Heronry by hiking or taking a complimentary shuttle provided by Cascade Auto Group of Cuyahoga Falls. Raffle prizes will be provided by Good Nature Organic Lawn Care and the Wild Bird Centers of Hudson and Akron.
Tickets are available by calling 1-800-642-3297 ext. 100 until Wednesday, February 27th or they can be purchased at the door.
