Blue Bossa Gypsy and Flamenkina: A Night of Urban Latin Cabaret October 23, 2010

Two singers and their bands will perform a Cabaret style show. Carmen Estevez is from Spain and Glenda Pezuela is from Cuba. Carmen dedicates her singing and percussion talent mainly to Flamenco and Glenda Pezuela to Bossa Nova. However, their unique personal history, which comes through from time to time during the performance, along with their original and modern interpretations of these classic styles, makes this night of urban Cabaret a New York phenomenon. Carmen Estevez will be singing and playing Cajon, accompanied by guitar player Gabriel Hermida and bass player Francesco Beccaro. Glenda Pezuela will be singing accompanied by guitar player Peter Matson and flutist Domenica Fossati.
