Lotus Sutra (Sanskrit. Saddharmapundarika-sutra; Tibetan: Padma-karpo) is perhaps the second most well known sutra after the Heart Sutra. Believed to have been taught by the Buddha on Vulture Peak, Rajgriha, it is also known as the “King of Sutras” (Skt. Sutraraja). Lotus Sutra influenced the formation of several schools of Buddhism in East Asia and its popularity continues to grow in modern times.

This weekend intensive retreat will explore the meaning and practices associated with this sutra.

Pre-requisite: Some familiarity with Buddhist principles.
