Join us for a screening of "I'm American: Am I a Prostitute?" - a documentary which questions whether capitalism turns us into prostitutes - forcing us to sell ourselves to sustain our lives in a society based on consumerism. "I'm American: Am I a Prostitute?" - explores the subtle forms and modes of exploitation in a capitalistic society, and the moral provocation between one's personal and public ethic. After the screening, we'll have a discussion w/ filmmaker, Gerald A. Powell, Jr., PhD.
