Bloody Henry
September 24 - October 24, 2009
Thurs, Fri, Sat @ 8pm

Brian Kooser, the mad puppet genius behind Frankenocchio, Dracula: A Case Study, UFO the Puppet Show and the ongoing Pickled Puppet Sideshow proudly presents his newest work of mannequin mayhem: Bloody Henry. 2009 marks the 500th anniversary of the coronation of Henry VIII of England. How better to celebrate this event than immersing ones self in an over the top hysterically accurate puppet show about a misogynist mass murdering monarch? Beautifully rendered hand, rod, shadow and Bunraku puppets will present this spectacle on an intricately detailed set representing the unsanitary glamour that was royal life at the dawn of the Renaissance.

Not suitable for children or the faint hearted.
