The latest from The Debate Society is a darkly comic thriller of post-war verve and pre-adolescent disquiet. Set in the tranquil Chicago suburb of Skokie in the early 1950's, a string of coincidences leads to a spontaneous grown-up party in the basement of a brand new ranch house. Games are played, exotic cocktails are drunk, and new friends are made. But... things are happening that no one is talking about. And something is stirring underground.
