Blogathon Vancouver July 25, 2009

Blogathon Vancouver 2009 will have a location in case participants want a place to gather.

Usually everyone just blogs from home but for 2009 I thought I would mix things up and host an event where participants can stay the entire time or simply stop by. With a neat setting, Gastown right outside the door, and hopefully some visitors, the 24 hours (and 48 posts in a row) should go by in no time.

Blogathon is 24 hours of blogging on your own site, for the charity of your choice, updating once every 30 minutes. It is an annual event that has been taking place since 2000.

In 2008 Blogathon Vancouver was created (in the spirit of Blogathon.org) and a dozen local bloggers raised over $10,000 for charities in a single 24-hour period.
