Hello my name is Carol Valentine my son was Sgt. Simon Valentine of the 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers who was tragically killed in action Aug '09 in Afghan whilst on foot patrol.
In his memory we have decided to hold a charity event to celebrate armed forces day, all money raised will go to the Fusiliers Aid Society and the Forces Children's Trust. Tickets cost £5.00 each and include a buffet, we have 40s style singer and if you wish to dress in 40s style you will be welcome. So come on over and enjoy a little nostalgia whilst helping to keep our brave boys memory alive and helping two worthy charities in the process, there will be charity raffle and auction also.
