As you would expect from a band who took their name from a Roxy Music song, Ladytron are very much at the stylish end of the electronic pop market. They're not exactly new arrivals - it was back in 1999 that Liverpool DJs Reuben Wu and Daniel Hunt teamed up with singers Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo. But by common critical consent their new album, Velocifero, is their best work to date and a major breakthrough beckons. Reuben plays vintage synths on stage, including a Korg MS2000B, Moog Voyager and Korg MS10 which gives the band its characteristic sound. In December, he will tour in celebration of the new release and acclaim which have skyrocketed the band into the spotlight once again. Expect some serious fun on the dance floor as the bands co-founder takes it to the next level behind the decks. Support from SLEAZEMORE & more TBA!
