In their first live tour since May, 1981 the legendary industrial music icons and pioneers of sample-based music, THROBBING GRISTLE will make an exclusive live appearance in San Francisco, the same city which hosted the last performance of the band before they split up in May, 1981. It goes beyond words to describe the significance of these pioneering experimental music and performance artists, who's work shocked people back into reality with a confrontational sound and live concert "demonstrations" that set in motion the entire industrial culture movement. Since then, their mark has been as much a cultural/historical as a pure sonic one. This concert will be something special. Support from Erika M Anderson.
