Blaskapelle Alte Kameraden: Polka Til Ya Drop! April 25, 2009

Back by popular demand, Blaskapelle Alte Kameraden, the German Band of the City of Fairfax Band Association, presents their annual Polka Party on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 7 pm. Enjoy an evening of fun, laughter and “kick-up-your-heels” dancing in authentic German style with traditional music by Fairfax’s own “Old Comrades”, lessons for polka novices by Herb Fredricksen, polka dance master, and polka demonstrations by "Bairisch und Stairisch" Bavarian Dance Club. German beer, wine, pretzels and pastries from Swiss Bakery will be available for an additional cost. Ein Prosit! Presented as part of Fairfax's 24th annual Spotlight on the Arts Festival, a three-week long presentation of music, dance, theater and visual arts in and around the City of Fairfax.
