Don't be left out in the cold!
By the time March rolls around you will have had enough of old man Winter, and the cold chill of Chicagoland. So join us for an island get-away. Put on your best grass skirt and your Hawaiian shirt for an afternoon in paradise. What could be better than an island luau complete with tropical drinks and hula dancing, not to mention the warm reception you will receive from your Blackhawk District friends. Its a time of celebration, of recognition and fun.
The cost of the event includes appetizer, main course, dessert, soft drinks, Polynesian dance show, door prize raffle, awards and lots of fun. There will be a cash bar for your tropical drink needs!
All Blackhawk troops, crews and packs need to be represented. We will be presenting the District Award of Merit, the highest honor a district can award, as well as other awards and recognitions for packs, troops, crews and individuals who have excelled in 2009.
