Hurtling from a poolroom in Scotland to an armored truck in Iraq, this blistering, complex, and urgent theater work is based on interviews with former soldiers who served in Iraq. Viewed through the eyes of those on the ground, Black Watch reveals what it means to be part of the legendary Scottish regiment, what it means to be part of the war on terror and what it means to make the journey home again.

Exploring the male psyche and the morality of war with tremendous energy, wit and compassion, Black Watch addresses one of the thorniest issues of our time. For more information, please visit www.carolinaperformingarts.org or call 919-843-3333.

Please note: Black Watch contains strong language, loud explosions and strobe lighting.
