Support the Black Parent Initiative fund-raiser!

The Black Parent Initiative is a community-based organization developed to address the significant and longstanding educational and life challenges facing Black students in Portland area School Districts. Using innovative partnerships, BPI is creating and enhancing systems to provide stronger supports for Black parents hence improving the odds of success for Black children in their journey to access a quality, world-class education.

Featured performers are The Black Violin, Apollo winning duo whose rhythms leave listeners completely mesmerized in a “hypnotically hyped state.” Kev Marcus and Wil-B make up this dynamic “violin- stroking duo” that has skillfully revolutionized a new category of classical music with the combination of many genres of music and sounds that have been taking the music industry by storm.
