The Black Expressions Series began in January 2004 through a partnership between Mason/Rhynes Productions and the Historic Lincoln Theatre to rave reviews and a full house. The series includes unique performances focusing on dance, music, film and spoken word featuring the next generation of artists of color. Experience the talent of local choreographer Aysha Upchurch and New York based Princess Grace award winner Camille Brown.
Co-presentation with Mason/Rhynes Productions. Aysha Upchurch’s work is commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of Performing Arts for Everyone and the Millennium Stage.

TICKETS: $22 general admission; $17 members, students, teachers (PreK-12), professional artists & seniors; $8 for children 17 & under – unless noted otherwise.
