In this ingenious comedy black is white and white is black. Dark is light and light is dark. Into this delightful mayhem a young woman brings her wealthy father to meet her fiance, an impoverished sculptor, and he, eager to impress his future father-in-law, has invited a famous art patron and "borrowed" his neighbors antiques and objects d'art to embellish his bare pad. Hilarity ensues when the neighbor returns too soon, the art patron is mistaken for an electrician, an old girlfriend makes an unexpected appearance and they all scurry in "pitch dark" to make things right.
