in association with Ekhaya Entertainment & Aaron Day present: BLACK COFFEE Live in New York City Following his incredible debut appearance in NYC last Spring, it is our great pleasure to bring back one of the biggest sensations in the House Music world. From the emerging dance music scene of South Africa, we are delighted to welcome back the one and only BLACK COFFEE!
The Durban-born DJ and producer has been on the music scene for over a decade, but it was Black Coffee's 2007 record "Even Though" that put him on the international map. In January 2009 he released "Turn Me On", which received massive response and quickly went straight to #1 on the largest Soulful House Digital site in the country, Traxsource.com, and the #1 hits have been coming ever since, with singles like "Garden of Eden", "Juju", "Crazy" and of course, his immense world-wide smash hit "Superman".
In the past year, Black Coffee has won two South African Music Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Urban Dance Album, and he was also recently named GQ "Man Of The Year" in South Africa for his achievements in music and for the work he is doing through his Foundation. Proceeds from this event will benefit the DJ Black Coffee Foundation, a charity set up by Coffee himself, aimed at helping people with disabilities and orphaned children. Due to the overwhelming response to our last event, we highly recommend that you get to this sure-to-be-sold-out event early, as Black Coffee is gonna be throwing down the only way he knows how! var addthis_config = {"data_track_clickback":true}; | More ⇐ Back to calendar
