A unique exhibition celebrating our friends across "the pond," the Black Atlantic Project involves a musical dialogue between an assortment of British and American music makers. Curated by renowned UK producer Charlie Dark, the Black Atlantic Project is an original composition by Dark that forms the base of a chain of musical remixes and exchanges. The composition is passed from artist to artist back and forth across the Atlantic. The music builds, blends and evolves as it travels, becoming both a game of "telephone" and a creative conversation among contemporary musicians working across genres. The remixed tracks are accompanied by cultural capsules: token items, voice letters and photographs from each of the musicians that give a tangible snapshot of their life and creative process.
