A Reflection on Business Ethics in the Light of Catholic Social Teaching

Bishop Cordileone will outline the key principles from Catholic Social Teaching, which have specific application to various sectors of society. He will provide guidance for how to apply them to the question of ethics in the workplace, highlighting the difference between a workplace environment based on these principles and values, and one characterized by the more common utilitarian approach taken nowadays. The Bishop will make special reference to Pope Benedict XVI's recent Encyclical, Caritas in Veritate ("Charity in Truth").

Full buffet breakfast is served starting at 7:00 am (Mass is offered at 6:30am at the same location.)
