Social Meetings are very informal, featuring a mixture of technical discussion, general chat and nearly always a game of Fluxx :)
Even if you haven't been involved in Perl for very long and just feel like you want to meet others, who might be a source of knowledge for the future, you are more than welcome. The Perl community is inclusive not exclusive, and like most of our adopted brethen we're a friendly bunch.

This will be a birthday bash, as the group will be 6 years old. We're meeting in The Old Joint Stock for food from 7pm, then moving onto The Wellington, round the corner on Bennett's Hill from about 9pm. Look out for a 6 inch stuffed penguin called Tux :)
