Birmingham Gay Pride Festival May 25, 2007

Taking place over May Bank Holiday, May 26th – 27th 2007.

Yes this year it's back to being a FREE Community event. No paid entrance to the village; no off-site venues charging additional admission fees. This year it's totally 100% free.

The entire village will be pedestrianised for the festival and all the streets are licensed for drinking. There's outside bars, catering, funfair, market, craft stalls and a whole lot more.

26th May 2007: Pride Saturday

Warming up to the main day, Pride Saturday brings the Village to life with the funfair and markets. When the streets close at 18:00, every bar will be rolling the barrel out onto the street for beer al fresco until the clubbing hours.

27th May 2007: Pride Sunday
The 2007 Parade begins at 2pm, in Victoria Square, travelling along New Street, all the way to Birmingham’s Gay Village.
We have four stages this year, all featuring some awesome entertainment.
