Join us for an afternoon focused on cleantech, biotech and biomedical entrepreneurship in the Bay Area. The BioBusiness Nexus at the IBE Annual meeting is an opportunity to discuss technology transfer and new venture creation with some of the Bay Area's most successful entrepreneurs, budding entrepreneurs, biotechnology scientists and engineers.

This dynamic program includes:

- a keynote presentation by John Hamer, founder of Arete Therapeutics and Managing Director of Burrill & Company,
- a presentation by Jack Newman, founder of Amyris Biotechnologies
- the stories of four local start-ups at various stages of growth in the Bay Area
- a panel of Bay Area leaders in venture capital and technology transfer
- a networking reception from 6 to 7:30 pm.
