Biography Fellows' Colloquium, featuring James Davis and Thulani Davis February 24, 2009

Two fellows will present their works in progress. James Davis is at work on a meditation on the life and work of Eric Walrond, a writer who rose to prominence during the Harlem Renaissance before moving to England. Thulani Davis has begun a biography of four blues queens: Ma Rainey, Ethel Waters, Alberta Hunter, and Bessie Smith.
