Central City, a focal point for urban redevelopment and revitalization in Whalley, soars 23 stories and is a recognizable Surrey landmark from miles away. Designed by internationally renowned architect Bing Thom, Central City is the brilliant combination of an office tower, shopping mall and Simon Fraser's new Surrey campus, bringing a rejuvenated vibrancy into Whalley's town centre.

At this lecture architect Bing Thom will discuss his vision and the evolution of the design of Central City, a complex that has won accolades nationally and internationally.

Seating is first-come, first served; reservations are not required.

Presented by SFU Surrey in partnership with SFU's City Program, Continuing Studies.
