Josh Radnor ("How I Met My Mother") and Justine Bateman ("Family Ties") star when L.A. Theatre Works records "Biloxi Blues" to air on LATW's nationally-syndicated weekly radio theater series, The Play's The Thing, which broadcasts weekly on public and satellite radio.

Winner of the 1985 Tony Award for Best Play, "Biloxi Blues" is the hilarious second installment of the playwright's "Eugene Trilogy." In "Brighton Beach Memoirs" we met Eugene Morris Jerome's close-knit Brooklyn Jewish family circa 1937, as seen through his diary entries. In "Biloxi Blues," it's 1943 and the naive and newly enlisted Eugene has been transplanted to Biloxi, Mississippi for basic training. Jerome's sadistic drill sergeant - who might just be nuts - is only part of the awakening journey in which Jerome encounters an odd and eclectic group of fellow recruits and has his first experiences with sex and love.

Performances take place Wednesday, July 11 at 8 pm; Thursday, July 12 at 8 pm; Friday, July 13 at 8 pm; Saturday, July 14 at 3 pm; and Sunday, July 15 at 4 pm.
