The Billyburg Short Film Festival is a competitive film and video festival, and a celebration of a diverse collection of short filmmakers. It is founded on the principle of expanding the independent film market through the short film, a stepping-stone for all independent filmmakers. The BSFF is also dedicated to enriching the Williamsburg film community, a convergence of up and coming artists and filmmakers, by gathering prominent industry members to a core Williamsburg event. Early every summer, the BSFF showcases talented filmmakers, artists and musicians to an audience of peers and industry leaders to enhance the spirit of independent film.

The 3rd Annual BSFF

The BSFF is dedicated to showing the latest cutting edge short works of filmmakers internationally and creating an open artist forum for all people interested in digital media.

Competition - our own competitive film festival of the greatest submitted short dramatic, documentary, experimental, comedic, animated and commercial works.

Inspiration - the film festival for film festivals; an event set to amass New York?s film community with the best short films touring in the festival circuit.
