Bill Traylor: Drawings June 26, 2012

Bill Traylor, born into slavery in 1854, began creating art at the age of 82. His work features memories, folk legends and observations of African American life. This exhibition contains selections from the High Museum of Art and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
