Join Libertarian gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Bill Peirce as he and the other candidates for Ohio governor serve on a panel as they discuss social justice as it relates to higher education.

President Carol Cartwright initiated a formal university-wide celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day for the first time, four years ago. We are delighted to note that this event is gradually becoming a major tradition at Kent State University. The full day event usually includes poetry, prose, and fine art competitions among neighboring schools. This is followed the panel presentation, and a keynote address.
