MCANINCH ARTS CENTER PRESENTS THE ILLINOIS PREMIERE OF BILL FRISELL’S DISFARMER PROJECT

Using eccentric folk photographer Mike Disfarmer’s stoic portraits as inspiration, contemporary jazz guitarist and revered composer Bill Frisell has created a profound suite of music to accompany Disfarmer’s photographs. Violinist Jenny Scheinman and lap steel guitar player Greg Leisz join Frisell for the performance.
