Bill Champitto performs at Sólás Boston, MA December 10, 2007

Sólás is an unpretentious little club in middle of pretentious Boylston Street in Back Bay. The club sits on the second floor of the Lenox Hotel none the less (I heard that was a pretentious phrase I could use to make my point). OK enough bashing Back Bay, I actually love the place. I spent enough time there when I was at Berklee College and there is some cool stuff happening in the area – including that Bill Champitto and Keita Ogawa are performing together (Keita just got back from his gig with Tiger and is preparing for his gig with Yo Yo Ma at Symphony Hall)…

It’s a great setting, and it’s a steady Monday gig (as long as enough of you show up!) I love playing on a non weekend. It’s the real music lovers who come out and its really special. Hope you can make it. Be well
