It's summer and Governors Island is open! Grab your bicycle and join a DOT-guided bike ride to Governors Island, New York City’s newest park in the heart of New York harbor! Once you’re there, ride along the Island’s magnificent 2.2 mile promenade or just bring a picnic and relax! Check out http://www.govisland.com/ for a full list of events and activities.
Group rides will guide you from Madison Square Park to the South Street ferry landing in Manhattan and from Grand Army Plaza to the Pier 6 ferry landing in Brooklyn.
