Bike for the Heart October 11, 2009

Organized by Sister to Sister: The Women's Heart Health Foundation, Bike for the Heart features a series of three events, all taking place in downtown Washington, D.C. Activities include a five-mile family-friendly bike ride around the nation's capital, an Arena Spin-a-Thon on stationary bikes inside of Verizon Center and a five-mile time trial around the city. In addition, this event will feature activities for children, entertainment, an awards ceremony and more.
