Bike Against the Odds August 23, 2008

Join hundreds of cyclists in a fundraising ride to prevent breast cancer. Choose between four route distances and support the Breast Cancer Fund's work to eliminate the environmental causes of the disease. This energizing ride starts in Oakland, winding through the beautiful ridgeline of the East Bay, and finishes with a celebration of organic food and live music.

-72 miles with 6,500 feet of climbing
-103 miles -Full Century- with 10,000 feet of climbing

Fundraising and Prizes
We encourage you to raise at least $250 in donations for the Breast Cancer Fund and local co-beneficiaries. When you do, you'll receive a gift bag with goodies from our sponsors. There will be exclusive incentive prizes for those reaching the $500, $1,000 and $1,500+ levels, plus amazing prizes for the top team and individual fundraisers.

Through public education, policy initiatives, outdoor challenges and other innovative campaign, the Breast Cancer Fund mobilizes the public to secure the changes needed to stop this devastating epidemic.
