The Big Sur Ride is a spectacular two-day, 170-mile ride that includes 11,100 feet of climbing. The ride begins and finishes in the quaint village of Carmel Valley. The route runs along the rugged Big Sur coastline, through the beautiful Salinas Valley, and into the dramatic rolling hills of Carmel Valley.

Saturday
On the first day, you'll view some of the most spectacular scenery in the world as you ride 92 miles and climb 7,700 feet. From the lovely village of Carmel Valley, you'll travel down Cabrillo Highway past the pounding surf of Point Lobos, along the famous cliffs of Big Sur, and through the majestic redwoods of Pfeiffer Big Sur. As you climb the challenging and scenic Nacimiento Road, you'll enjoy views of the coastline you'll never forget. The ride descends into Fort Hunter Liggett for a night of camping. Dinner will be held in the historic Ranch House.
Sunday
Your day starts with a hearty Buffet Breakfast in the Ranch House. Following breakfast you'll ride 78 miles and climb 3,400 feet. The ride commences at the Ranch House and proceeds to King City and the famous agricultural region of the Salinas Valley. At Greenfield you'll turn west into the beautiful wine country and rolling hills of Carmel Valley. Rushing creeks and the Carmel River parallel the route. As you ride through the valley, you'll marvel at the rustic scenery and enjoy the backdrop of the high, rugged Santa Lucia mountains. Your adventure ends with a post-ride Fiesta at Community Park in Carmel Valley Village.
