Big Read-A-Thon of A Lesson Before Dying March 5, 2009

Join Hayward Public Library and friends as they kick off The Big Read, a program of National Endowment for the Arts, by reading Ernest Gaines' book A Lesson Before Dying out loud from cover to cover. Students, teachers, community leaders, friends, neighbors, and even author Lalita Tademy (Cane River) are all taking a turn on the microphone -- and so can you. Bring a friend!
