“BIG NIGHT OUT” presents the very popular entertainment of the extraordinary Half Pack LIVE!!!, featuring Mark Haynie and Troy Kline. These gentlemen are “Not Your Typical Swingers…” (This isn’t your father’s Sinatra) They’ll remind you of Frank and Dean-o with their swagger and bounce, sparkle and style. To say these guys have fantastic voices is just scratching the surface - they’re bona-fide, world-class entertainers backed by a band that represents a “who’s who” in Seattle Jazz – Dave Marriott, Tom Marriott, Kevin Seeley, Steve Rice, Travis Ranney, Alexey Nikolaiev, Matso Limtiaco, Rachael Contorer and Devan Stovall. This lineup is the envy of every bandleader in the Pacific Northwest.

As if that’s not enough, “BIG NIGHT OUT” will also showcase comedians Rod Long and the nationally renowned Cathy Sorbo. Rod Long won the “Seattle’s Laugh-Off” competition, was voted “Emerald City’s Funniest Person” and has headlined multitudes of comedy shows over the past few decades. Cathy Sorbo has appeared on Showtime and HBO comedy specials as well as appearances on Comedy Central, Ellen DeGeneres, The Tonight Show and others. She is a regular on NPR’s “Rewind” and has headlined A-List comedy clubs throughout the nation.

If that’s the cake – and quite a cake it is – then there must be some pretty tasty frosting, right? The emcee and hostess of the evening is none other than Karen Motherway as Marilyn Monroe. Karen is recognized by Ripley’s Las Vegas Museum as the “Official Body Double” of the dearly departed “Ms. Monroe.” She’ll be wearing the 7-carat diamond necklace awarded her as the winner of the National Marilyn Monroe Competition (yes, they have those) and will bring the reincarnation to life with professionally polished song and stage personality.
