Shor Dining Room, at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, Chicago, Illinois, is rekindling an age old tradition, Sunday night dinner with the family with Big Night on Sundays. "In an age of remote communication and text messaging, we need to work extra hard to hold onto those special times when the family can gather together around the table and share in conversation and fellowship with great food," commented George Vizer, General Manager of Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. So leave the pots and pans at home and spend some quality family time together every Sunday through April 2008, at a family friendly price.

"Big Nights" is a family dining experience that brings all of your favorite dishes to the table without all of the work. Prepared by Executive Chef, Anthony De La Rosa, you will be treated to a traditional Italian feast, with all of the great aromas, savory classics and heaping bowls of pasta. Served in abundant family style proportions, the meal will begin with freshly baked pizzas from our very own hearth, along with zesty antipasto and crisp Caesar salad.

The entrees will follow, consisting of traditional Old World Italian dishes ranging from Chicken Vesuvio and Beef Braciole to Baked Clams and Salmon Oreganato and of course steaming hot Spaghetti with meatballs. As with all good meals, dessert will help cap things off with a wide selection of scrumptious treats, including cannolis, tiramisu and more.

The price for dinner is $24 for adults, $12 for children ages 8 to 14, and children 7 and under are free. Complimentary self-parking is available to diners and valet parking will also be available at a reduced rate.

Shor, a Chicago Grill, offers diverse lunch and dinner menus, which both build on and depart from traditional grill standards. At their core the menu emphasizes well-aged steaks, the freshest seafood and a range of tempting desserts. During lunch hours, Shors menu gives guests the opportunity to sample flavors from different Chicago neighborhoods, with items including Taylor Street Tuna, Chicago Deli Hot Corned Beef and South Side Cioppino. In the evening, Shors dinner menu features Striped Bass, Peppered Salmon with a drizzle of Ponzu Dressing, as well as Choice Steaks grilled to perfection.
