Big Joe Turner's Memphis Blues Caravan October 8, 2005

Big Joe Turner is a true Blues Legend whose immaculate bass playing and multi instrumentation has served BB King for over a decade. Big Joe began his career at the age of ten and in the years that followed he mastered the Drums, Guitar, Keyboards, Trombone and of course the Bass Guitar.

As well as working with BB King, this veteran bassist has toured and recorded with virtually all the greats of the modern blues era, including, Albert King, Albert Collins, Little Milton, George Benson and Percy Mayfield. He also appeared in Elvis movie "Good Rocking Tonight" and "Watt Stax" and his TV appearances are too numerous to mention.

Big Joe Turner and his Memphis Blues Caravan are set to capture the hearts of European blues lovers.

"Blues is the voice of the soul," says Joe. "And our Memphis style tries to carry the emotions of the southern blues harmony. I'm looking forward to stepping out with the guys and flying the blues flag."
