8th Annual Big Event Gala to Benefit Oldest Youth Mentoring Organization in U.S.

“The Big Event,” one of the social season’s largest and liveliest parties, brings together community leaders to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami. The popular fundraiser to benefit more than 7,000 children, families and volunteers will be held at the new J.W. Marriot Marquis in downtown Miami. Guest will enjoy an evening of fabulous Imagination themed events including earth and aqua-themed auction villages, fine dining, dancing, and entertainment at the event themed “Imagination…Expect the Unexpected.”

According to BBBS CEO Lydia Muniz, the non-profit organization hopes that Miami’s charitable and community minded supporters will consider the agency an excellent investment in 2011 and support its one million dollar goal for this year’s gala event.
